Michigan sightings......
Barb's painting called "Sleeping Chequers" at Gracie's in Williamston, Michigan was sold during the first week of the show. "Chequers" was part of the Second Monday Artists' show called "Black and White".
Barb has donated Christmas Note Cards featuring a sleepling lab dog to a fund raiser for the Kitten Nursery in Williamston. Also, an Alaska Bear painting was donated to the fund raiser. The Kitten Nursery is in need of old towels. Contact Jennifer (517)862-5931.
Barb has five paintings on exhibit at the PGPA Pharmacy, Meridian Crossings, corner of Jolly and Okemos Roads, Okemos, Michigan. The exhibit will be available for viewing through March, 2012.
Barb is currently planning her new studio which will be in her home. It will be completely furnished so that Barb can teach small classes in the studio. Construction has started and will be completed the third week of January 2012. The windows, door, heating system, cabinets, dry wall, and painting are finished.
Barb is teaching four watercolor classes starting in January, 2012. Three classes are at Art Unlimited, Okemos and one at Hannah Community Center, East Lansing, Michigan.
Barb has two paintings on exhibit at the Unity Church.
